CFIC is overseen by Councillors of the agency. The Council members are elected from among the regular membership and represent 5% (rounded down) of the members. (Read our full bylaws here.)
A 3 to 9-member operational Board of Directors manages and governs the agency. Directors must be CFIC Council members and are elected by the CFIC council.
The CFIC Board of Directors is operational in nature. Each director assumes one or more functional roles within the agency.
CFIC has many active and active and committed volunteers. We have recently implemented a volunteer application process and look forward to being able to track and report on volunteer hours in support of our mission.
