6pm - 7pm: Private Reception with James Randi. Ticket: $35 per person, and that includes the admission to Randi's talk. Limited seats and by reservation ONLY.

7pm - 7:30pm: Introduction by:
Brahim Abdenbi, Centre for Inquiry Executive Director, and physicist Dany Plouffe, founder of the coalition "La table.ca"
7:30pm - 9pm: Talk by James Randi, followed by Q&A.

The Centre for Inquiry Montreal is pleased to have James Randi coming to speak in Montreal the 29th of September 2011. The topic of his talk will be anonunced soon. This event will be preceeded by a "Private Reception/Fundraiser with Mr. Randi". The number of tickets to this reception is limited to 30, and by reservation ONLY. For those of you who don't know Mr. Randi, he is a world famous magician and skeptic who has been engaged in a variety of high-profile investigations of pseudoscience and the supernatural. To this end, he founded the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) which offers a prize of $1 million to anybody who can conclusively demonstrate supernatural abilities or phenomena.
