CFI Community of Calgary Hosts Successful Inaugural Event!

CFI Community of Calgary hosted an inaugural event on October 4th at the University of Calgary.  We had over 80 people in attendance and heard short addresses from the following individuals:

Dr. David Eberth, Tyrrell Museum paleontologist
Dr. Janet Sisson, Philosophy Prof, Mount Royal College
Ian Bushfield, President, University of Alberta Atheists and Agnostics
Rob Breakenridge, Journalist and host QR77's "The World Tonight"
Scott Rowed, Assistant Coordinator, CFI Calgary
Dr. James Linville, Chair, Religious Studies, University of Lethbridge
Bart Farkas, Journalist and Biographer of the James Randi Education Fund
Ben Keller, President, University of Calgary Freethinkers Association
Justin Trottier, Executive Director, Centre for Inquiry Canada
Cliff Erasmus, Coordinator, CFI Calgary

Dr. Eberth led a toast.  Food and beverage was provided and an enlightening and entertaining discussion took place.  CFI Calgary is off to a great start!
