What?

A party in the downtown Toronto area on a streetcar and at the Centre for Inquiry building. Ticket holders will receive one ride on a streetcar around various landmarks in the downtown Toronto area and also have a chance to mingle, talk, and party with other atheists, secularists, and humanists at the Centre for Inquiry. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. All ticket holders must be of age 19 or older to buy alcohol, those under age will be admitted but will not be permitted to purchase alcohol. To gain entry to the Centre For Inquiry you must bring government issued photo identification.

What to wear?

Please keep attire smart casual, we discourage people from wearing baggy pants and over sized clothing, sweat shirts, blue jeans, and running shoes. If you don’t know what smart casual means, google image search “smart casual”.

What to bring to gain entry?

After paying for your ticket, all you will need to do is print off the first email you receive that contains your booking number and bring that. You will also need to bring government issued photo identification with names that match the name on your ticket. If you are unsure if your payment went through, please email chris@atheistbus.ca.

How to use your ticket?

There are two types of tickets available for purchase, single tickets for $20 and tickets for two that cost $30. All ticket holders are required to present their booking number to gain entry as described in our terms and conditions. Single ticket holders must bring government issued photo identification that matches the name on the booking. If you have purchased a ticket for two, the person with the registered name on the ticket will be permitted entry along with one guest of the ticket holders choice, both people will require government issued photo identification.

Important StreetCar Information:

There will be three streetcar rounds, each lasting a bit less than an hour. The first trip will be at 8:00pm, second at 9:00pm, and third and last will be at 10:00pm. The streetcar is able to seat 46 people and has a maximum capacity of 65 total. Depending on how many people purchase tickets, we will be offering rounds based on the order people arrive at Centre For Inquiry. In other words, the first 46 people that arrive will be on the first streetcar round, the second group will be on the second round at 9:00pm, and everyone else will be on the last trip at 10:00pm. We ask all people that wish to be on the 8:00pm streetcar trip to arrive at Centre For Inquiry by 7:40pm. There will be a 2-3 minute walk from Centre For Inquiry to the streetcar tracks and people will be accompanied by a guide to ensure everyone gets to the designated boarding area. Ticket holders will be permitted to eat, drink, mingle, and party at the Centre for Inquiry before and after their streetcar trip. We will be emailing further detailed instructions 1 to 2 days before the event and we will also offer a printout instruction page when you arrive to ensure everyone knows where to go.

You said we can “purchase” food and drinks, will they be expensive?

No. We will only charge enough to cover the base cost of food and drinks. We’re not a club and our intention is not to make money from selling food and drinks. We want to ensure people can eat, drink, and have a good time without having to worry about breaking the bank.

Anything else?

Yes, please remember to check your email for updates and instructions before you leave for the event. There might be minor changes to the evenings event and we will be emailing instructions on how guests will gain entry to the streetcar. We will do our best to make sure all information is easy accessible through our website and facebook event page.
