CFI @ Pride!
Come out for an amazing day at Pride Toronto 2010! The Centre for Inquiry and our friends at the Freethought Association of Canada will be walking together in the Toronto Pride Parade, one of the largest in the world, to show our support for the LGBTQ community. This is our second annual ATHEIST PRIDE event, and we want to make this year even more of a success than the last. To do that, we'll need YOU to join us! All you have to do is show up at CFI Ontario (216 Beverley St.) an hour before the parade with as much rainbow coloured doo-dads as you can possibly put on your person. We'll be providing FREE Atheist Pride T-SHIRTS, in a variety of sizes. If you're not sure about attending, either because you don't like parades, or feel uncomfortable for any reason, don't worry! While there are lots of people, this isn't your traditional parade. Last year, the excitement and acceptance of the crowd was amazing - something every freethinker should experience. We have no doubt this year will be the same, so trust us, you won't want to miss it!
One last note: you don't have to be gay to walk in the parade! You just have to be awesome :)
We will meet at CFI @ noon before we head down to the parade.
