On the tragic death of Aqsa Parvez,
The Centre for Inquiry Ontario wishes to express its grief caused by the brutal and unjustifiable murder of the Mississauga teenager, Aqsa Parvez. Worse yet, is that the shameful act that robbed a future of dreams and possibilities from someone so young appears to have been perpetrated by those were meant to be her greatest solace and comfort and largely over a trivial matter of attire. We hope all Canadians see her death as a needless tragedy and an affront to the values of our society, which include the freedom from forcible subjugation to another’s, even a parent’s, religious convictions.
