The Canadian Atheist Bus Campaign is launching its BC Campaign with bus ads in Kelowna and Kamloops starting April 11 to 16. Please visit www.cficanada.ca/support to support these and other projects by joining CFI and/or making a charitable donation today.
Centre for Inquiry Canada has also launched a nation-wide campaign entitled Extraordinary Claims featuring bus ads, educational events and online discussions. It challenges well-known and widely believed claims by demanding evidence as extraordinary as the claims themselves. Click HERE to donate directly to this campaign in BC. Your donation will have a direct impact on how long and on how many buses this upcoming campaign will be run.
CFI Vancouver offers an opportunity to put your principles into practice by joining other rationalists to work for positive change in society. In addition, the Vancouver branch sponsors social events for freethinkers as well as intellectual programming, and supports campus freethought and skeptic groups. CFI provides an ethical alternative to religious and paranormal worldviews. In this time of rising religiosity, anti-intellectualism and political turmoil on ethical issues it is critical that rationalists and freethinkers join together to protect civil liberties, defend reason, and work toward increasing scientific literacy. Click here to learn the benefits of joining and/or to join the Centre for Inquiry.
You can keep up to date with all of CFI Vancouver's activities in and around the Greater Vancouver Area by regularly checking our Events Calendar or by joining our Facebook group, and/or our Meetup group.
