The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe started over 5 years ago with a small audience and modest goals. Since then it has become a favourite of the skeptical community with over 100,000 downloads per week. With more than 270 episodes over 5 years, the Skeptics' Guide to the Universe is one of the oldest and most widely listened to skeptical podcasts on the Internet and has been the introduction to skepticism for tens of thousands of people.

Please show your support for the cast's contributions to the skeptical community by attending this fundraising event to help them get to Sydney for TAM Australia!

Host of the podcast, Dr. Steven Novella, along with three of his usual "skeptical rogues", Bob Novella, Evan Bernstein, and Jay Novella, will be in Vancouver to record an episode of their podcast in front of a live audience. Their special guest-rogue for this episode will be musician/singer/songwriter/podcaster/humourist/sharp-dresser George Hrab of Geologic Records and The Geologic Podcast .

Be sure to get your tickets to take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet these prominent skeptics, attend their live show, play along with "Science or Fiction", hear some of George's music performed live, and participate in an audience Q&A session with the panel.

In keeping with the lead-up to TAM Australia the reception will be at the Australian-themed "Moose's Down Under Restaurant" at 830 West Pender Street . Tickets for the reception include one free (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) drink, and a cash bar will be available.
